Working Sessions

During the 3D Workshop, working sessions are scheduled. The purpose of these sessions will be to open international discussion on both technical and legal aspects of 3D Cadastres. The aim of the working sessions is:
1. to clarify the problem domain;
2. to brainstorm about possible solutions;
3. to give recommendations.

There will be parallel working sessions on the first and second day on the following topics:

  1. Organizational (conceptual) aspects (operationalization, financing, working processes)
    chairperson: M. Sutherland, University of New Brunswick, Canada
  2. Technical aspects (geometry, topology, 3D modelling, data structure, information systems)
    chairperson: C. Gold, Polytechnic University of Hong Kong
  3. Legal aspects (juridical restrictions, changing legislation)
    chairperson: J. de Jong, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands

On the third day a plenary session will be held to report from the different working sessions.
